Circuit Court Judge Don Ash convicted Ronald Damon of aggravated kidnapping and robbery of an elderly couple in their rural Eagleville home. As you recall, on September 27th a jury found the 37-year old man guilty of beating and robbing Cecil and Edna Storey just after Christmas in 2009. The judge will deliver the sentence against Damon this coming Monday, November 28th. He could face 29 to 112-years in prison.

Look Back At The Crime

The Rutherford County Sheriffs Office reports that shortly after 10:00 o'clock on Sunday night, December 29, 2009, three men reportedly committed a home invasion against Cecil and Edna Storey. Detectives focused on this vicious crime and by Wednesday night (12/30/2009) arrested three suspects:  Ronald Damon of Murfreesboro, along with 20-year old James Pittard of McMinnville, and 19-year old Ashton Garza of Rockvale.

87-year old Cecil Storey told detectives that Damon and the two others, pushed their way into their secluded Eagleville home. The trio then allegedly beat and tied-up the elderly couple, and stole their money. Sadley, 93-year old Edna Storey died of a heart attack a few months later.
