This Wednesday is the deadline to enter the "Bicentennial Christmas Parade". Parade coordinator Angie Walker said, "All of a sudden the deadline is hours away. Participants need to get the completed forms to WGNS by 4:00 o'clock this coming Wednesday afternoon (11/30/2011)."

She said that parade guidelines and entry applications are on the WGNS' website: www.WGNSradio.com. She noted, "See the blue bar on the upper portion of the website? Click on PARADE, and there is everything you need." 

This year's parade will be at 2:00 o'clock Sunday afternoon, December 11th.  It will start in front of the MTSU president's home and go down East Main Street, around the square, onto West Main and end on Walnut Street.  Walker stressed, "It will not be on Greenland Drive or Middle Tennessee Boulevard as in years past. If you find a good spot there, you will miss everything."
