Murfreesboro Police are searching for two black males who are believed to have been involved in an armed robbery around 11:45 Monday morning (11/28/2011) at Cash Express, 1604 Memorial Boulevard). K-9 officers were brought to the crime scene, but lost the scent during the search. This is the second time this month that Cash Express has been the victim of an armed robbery.

Police received reports from citizens that the suspects were seen crossing the Destiny Center's parking lot at 1610 Memorial Boulevard. A rifle was discarded there, and detectives have secured the weapon as evidence.

Police set-up a perimeter around the entire area, including at businesses, apartments and residential areas surrounding the crime scene. The two suspects were wearing black hoodies and ski masks. They fled on foot, but may have left the area around the Kingwood Apartments in a red Toyota car.
