A man by the name of Christopher Chaffin has been arrested and charged for the 9th time with "Driving on a Revoked License."

Chaffin, who lives in Murfreesboro, was pulled over when police allegedly spotted the driver not wearing a seatbelt.

During the stop, Chaffin reportedly asked to step out of his 1992 Chevy truck. The arresting officer noted, "As Mr. Chaffin exited the vehicle I observed a glass meth pipe in plain view in the driver's door." Due to the pipe, Chaffin was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.

When Chaffin's license information was checked by dispatch, it was confirmed that Chaffin had a revoked license. Evidently, he had 8 previous convictions for driving on a revoked license. In other words, the recent traffic stop marked the 9th time Chaffin was caught driving on that revoked license.

34 Year old Chaffin was booked into the local jail under a $13,500 bond. As of Thursday evening (5/10/18), Chaffin was still in custody.
