That was Thomas Laird with the Murfreesboro Parks and Rec Department. The Beach Party utilized sand that will soon be used on Barfield Park Ball Fields. However, it was used to allow children the opportunity to play in the sand and build sand castles, sand angels and more on May 11th. The parks hold a beach party annually.
