The Journey Home in Murfreesboro will be collecting non perishable food items on Friday at the annual Christmas Tree Lighting event on the local square. The Journey Home is a non-profit agency in Murfreesboro that provides warm meals for homeless persons living in our community. The Journey Home will also be collecting winter scarves, jackets and gloves for the homeless on Friday night at the 6:00 event in front of the local courthouse.
