WGNS has an update on a rollover accident that was reported on Tuesday (5/29/18/) in Murfreesboro involving a van on I-24 near Medical Center Parkway. The wreck happened shortly after 10 AM.

Anthony Lee Ervin was traveling East on I-24 in a 2013 Ford Econoline Van when he struck a guard rail while changing lanes. After hitting the rail, the van overturned and landed on its side halfway into the trees about 30 fee from the shoulder of the interstate.

The Tennessee Highway Patrol reports that the vehicle may have had a mechanical breakdown or a ruptured tire, which would not allow Ervin to steer back onto the roadway.
