The 4th of July Celebration is returning to La Vergne for the eighth year with music, food, kids entertainment, and a free fireworks show planned.

Gates to the football field are opening at 5:00 p.m. on July 4 and the music will begin at 6:00 p.m. Nanny and Poppy's Concession will be selling items like snow cones, funnel cakes, lemonade, etc. We will also have a caricature artist, Sam the Balloon Man and Bounce Houses.

Zone Status, the popular Murfreesboro band comprised of police and other emergency responders, is confirmed as entertainment.

The free event is held at Veterans Memorial Park on Floyd Mayfield Drive off of Murfreesboro Road. Families are invited to bring blankets and lawn chairs, as well as their own picnic dinners. Visitors may also dine from a selection of food trucks that will be onsite. The spectacular fireworks show will begin at dusk.
