A card skimmer, a fake ID and multiple credit cards were recovered by police.
Authorities pulled two females over shortly after the women allegedly tried to use what was cited as a stolen credit card at a tobacco store on South Church Street in Murfreesboro.
During the stop, police spoke to Michelle Glekiah and Jasmine McLean. The duo asked to use the bathroom while talking to police,. Officers allowed them to use a nearby bathroom, but once they left police decided to search the room. Inside the bathroom trashcan, police discovered credit cards and driver licenses. A police arrest report shows, "Ms. McLean admitted to discarding the cards and ID's."
The vehicle, which was supposedly rented with fraudulent information, was impounded. The two women were then arrested and charged with criminal simulation and fraudulent use of a driver's license.
