A Murfreesboro man was charged on July 4th with his 5th offense of "Driving on a Revoked License." State Troopers spotted Keith Lamont Eubanks on Interstate 840 where they say he was not remaining in his lane of travel.
The 43 year old man was followed to the exit where he then headed towards a Kroger store, which is where he was stopped.
Eubanks had his license revoked for "Failing to pay fines," according to a police arrest report. However, it is doubtful that the charge will stick as a federal judge has just struck down a law that allowed Tennessee officials to revoke driver's licenses for defendants who did not pay court costs (See Story Here)
