In the area of Cosmetology & Barber on July 20, 2018 the state levied a $4,000 civil penalty against Shekinah Braids for unlicensed activity. On July 26, 2018 Paris Nails was fined a $1,000 civil penalty for the responsibility of a shop for allowing an individual to practice without a valid license. Both were for businesses in Smyrna.
Under the MOTOR VEHICLE category, on July 6, 2018, Isaac Tapia in La Vergne received a $3,000 Civil penalty plus $200 in costs.
