A woman on Empress Drive in Murfreesboro allegedly overdosed on heroin this past Tuesday. When Police arrived, they found her unresponsive at the top of a staircase. A dose of Narcan quickly revived her.

Inside the bathroom of the home, authorities found needles and a brown substance believed to be heroin.

After the woman was transported to Saint Thomas Rutherford Hospital in Murfreesboro, she admitted to police that the substance found was indeed heroin.
