The man killed Tuesday (8/28/18) at 9 p.m. in a motorcyclist crash on Lebanon Pike in Nashville is identified as Marcellious Scott, 56, of Smyrna.

The preliminary investigation indicates that Scott was riding his 2012 Harley-Davidson west on Lebanon Pike near Old Hickory Boulevard when, for reasons unknown, he drifted toward the center of the roadway and struck the concrete curb of the center median.

Scott, who was wearing a helmet, was transported to Skyline Medical Center where he died. There was no evidence of drug or alcohol involvement at the scene.
