The first three days of early voting last week saw record numbers go to the polls in Tennessee.

Nearly 400-thousand have cast their ballot statewide. Voting has been brisk in Rutherford County as well. As of Saturday, 19,378 Rutherford Countians have gone to the polls. A total of over 59-hundred went on the first day of early voting last Wednesday.

Interest has been driven by the race for U.S. Senate between Republican Marsha Blackburn and Democrat Phil Bredesen as well as the governor's race between Republican Bill Lee and Democrat Karl Dean.

City elections in Eagleville, La Vergne and Smyrna along with U.S. Congress and state House and Senate races are on the ballot.

Early voting continues through November 1st. We have a link to complete early voting information at WGNSRadio.com.
