Murfreesboro Police are investigating a shooting that occurred just before 2 o'clock Friday afternoon at 810 N.W. Broad Street. That's the location of Eclipse Barber Shop, which is in the Jackson Heights Plaza.

Police spokeswoman Officer Amy Norville tells NewsRadio WGNS one adult male victim was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

She reports the victim and the shooter knew each other and this was not a random act.

MPD is reportedly looking for the gunman who got away in a white four-door Chevy Cobalt.
