Amazon has announced it will bring a new operations center to Nashville, creating about five-thousand new jobs.

In an announcement Tuesday, the company said the center will also serve as the Eastern hub for their retail operations division.

The center will reportedly be located on the old site of Lifeway in downtown Nashville.
