There was a shooting on Lakeshore Drive in Murfreesboro. The shooting left one man dead. Killed was 32-year old Bruce B. Thomas of Rutherford Boulevard. Officer Kyle Evans tells us that those involved in the shooting are believed to be affiliated with gangs and that the shooting was over a dispute involving a female.
This is the 3rd Homicide in 2011, down 2 from the 5 in 2010.
