The United Way of Rutherford and Cannon Counties Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program (VITA) kicked off the opening to tax season on Monday, January 28th. The Rutherford County Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting for the event at Patterson Park Community Center.
