Murfreesboro Police responded to Knights Inn on South Church Street in regards to an overdose case. Upon their arrival, a man was located on the floor of room 140.

The unresponsive male was administered a dose of NARCAN by an officer. Within minutes he came to and was transported to the emergency room.

Inside the room, police found a syringe and spoon with a powder residue on it. They also located what appeared to be heroin.

After Anthony Dewayne Buck was released from the hospital, he was arrested on three outstanding warrants out of Nashville. He was also charged with simple possession of a schedule I drug, which is the suspected heroin.
