This past Friday, the Murfreesboro City Schools paid special attention to "No One Eats Alone Day."

The date of the annual event educates school children about the need to have friends, include others and accept people for who they are. It is a day in which all children can feel included.

In Murfreesboro, City School Board members, Central Office staff, Fire and Police Departments joined students around the lunch table to engage in friendship and conversation.
