Severe thunderstorms, one which prompted a tornado warning, left behind downed power lines and trees across Rutherford County Saturday.
Two homes were reportedly struck by lightning in the Puckett Station subdivision in Murfreesboro.
The National Weather Service reports thunderstorm wind damage downed power lines around 7pm on Shelbyville Highway, about four-miles south of downtown Murfreesboro.
Better weather is expected through mid-week. That's when another spring time storm system is expected in Middle Tennessee. Thursday could bring more severe storms to the area.
