Murfreesboro Police were summoned to Walmart on Joe B. Jackson Parkway at South Church Street for an "Overdose" call.

Once on the scene police were met by a team of paramedics who were removing a man from his vehicle and placing him onto a stretcher.

An acquaintance of the unconscious subject told police they were sitting in his car when the man passed out. Evidently, the 32-year-old Haynes Drive resident allegedly told the other person in the car that he had taken some "Ice" earlier, but did not know how much.

Inside the car, police found a spoon with residue on it, two plastic baggies with residue in them and two digital scales - all common with drug use.

The overdose patient was transported to the Saint Thomas Rutherford Emergency Room for treatment.
