A small Jon boat sank in Percy Priest Lake on New Years Day. The duo that were on the boat had to brave the frigid waters and swim to shore when the boat they were on began to go under. The incident occurred around 7:00 at night on Sunday. The two men were about 150-feet from the shoreline when their boat went under. The two were transported to StoneCrest Medical Center for observation after getting out of the cold waters.
