Connor Ott, son of Carl and Caroline Coleman Ott, earned his Eagle Scout rank this past March with Murfreesboro's St. Mark's Methodist Troop 398.

For his project, Ott developed a design, purchased materials, and oversaw troop members who corrected a flooding issue by using French drains and then improved landscaping at the church.

Not only is Connor a Boy Scout, he is also very involved in his church, school, and community. A football player at Siegel High School, Ott is serving as Beta Club Vice President and has been active in FFA, DECA, Young Life, and Youth Leadership Rutherford.
