Oakland High School students who have been enrolled in various classes related to the education field and teaching as a profession competed today at the district Educators Rising competition at Middle Tennessee State University. The students won 1st in 3 out of 5 events. The results are as follows:

1st Lesson Planning: Delaney Spintzyk
3rd Research Learning Disabilities: Johanna Romans, Jayanna Miller, Kennedy Moore, Addison Brandon
Oakland High School Automotive Technology student competed in the state Skills Competition this week. Alex Blair was 1st in state at Diesel Equipment Technology and Christian Ramos was 2nd in state at Marine Service Technology. OHS is proud of these students and their commitment to learning a valuable skill and working to be career ready after graduation.
