Lawn and Garden Issues with Rutherford County Agriciultural Extension Agent Rachel Painter and Master Gardener Dr. Warren Anderson, a retired soil professor from MTSU.

They touched on:

• ADVENTURES IN AGRICULTURE: a free look at life on a farm with animals, trolley rides, games and more. It is this coming Saturday, April 13, 2019, from 10AM-2PM at the Lane Agri-Park (315 John Rice Blvd.). It is FREE, but they encourage you to bring canned for for needy families.
• PLANTS SWAP: Saturday, May 11, 2019 (9AM-Noon) at the Lane Agri-Park. Bring vegetable plants, flowering plants, bulbs, corms, trees or house plants to SWAP (NO seedlings, seeds or invasive plants). Your plants must be labeled with its name, growth habits and divided if necessary). Note: this is Mother's Day weekend.
• LINEBAUGH PUBLIC LIBRARY: The Master Gardeners have a class there on the first Saturday of each month (9:00AM, upstairs in library's board room). The class is FRE. For more information, phone 615-893-4131 (circulation desk).
• JUNIOR GARDENER CAMP a three-day camp (8AM-Noon) for 4-6th grade students at the Lane Agri-Park. Space is limited to 20 students, so reserve your child's space before all opening are filled. Phone the Lane Agri-Park at 615-898-7710.
