(MURFREESBORO) The Murfreesboro City Council has called a special budget meeting for 5:00 o'clock this Thursday night in the council chambers at City Hall.

During this meeting staff will make recommendations and request direction on budget decisions.

In addition, with the 20-year contract between the Tennessee State Soccer Association and Murfreesboro, improvements at the Siegel Soccer Park are on the horizon . . .

With Council direction, City Manager Craig Tindall will present a draft budget to Council by May 15, 2019, in accordance with the requirements of the City Charter.

The regular Council meeting will follow at 7:00PM.
