(MURFREESBORO) Around 5:00 o'clock Monday (4/15/2019) afternoon, a two-vehicle crash on NW Broad Street and Northfield, in front of Krogers, brought westbound traffic to a crawl.

Murfreesboro Police worked the incidnt and attempted to keep the traffic flowing smoothly, but it was afternoon drive-time and too many motorists were on the roadway.

Traffic flowing from downtown Murfreesboro toward Smyrna on Broad was almost at a standstill. In addition, traffic on the eastbound lane was also packed due to "rubber-necking".
