Mountain bike trails are NOW OPEN in the area of Barfield Park. The trails were constructed earlier this year at a cost of about $450,000 and cover around 100 acres. The trails total over 8 miles and has its own parking lot and access point just outside of Barfield Park.

To visit the new mountain bike trails from Murfreesboro, guest will head down 231 South and take the first right onto Oak Meadows Drive just past Volunteer Road.

Trails are open from dawn until dusk.
