The new Salem Elementary School in Murfreesboro is in its finishing stages of construction and is still scheduled to be open in time for students by the upcoming 2019-2020 school year.

Not too far from the new city school, Rutherford County is building a new high school behind Rockvale Middle on Highway 99. New Principal Steve Luker said that the area around the new high school will grow once the school opens...



Rockvale High School is also slated to open by the start of the 2019-2020 school year.
