TN Lawmakers Back at Work

Lawmakers in Tennessee are back at work this week on Capitol Hill in Nashville. The 107th General Assembly convened on Tuesday. The main goal this year is to put together a budget for the budget year that starts in July. Some Republican lawmakers are calling for a cut in the states inheritance tax or the Hall tax on income from stocks and bonds. Governor Bill Haslam alluded the tax cuts not possible due to the loss of revenue the cuts would present.
