A strange story out of a Murfreesboro apartment complex in the Barfiled area from Monday night… One loyal Alabama fan decided to question if one of his neighbors was an Alabama fan as well. When the resident of the apartment complex told his neighbor “NO,” the diehard fan allegedly started walking towards the resident. That was when the resident closed his door to Michael Roger Lambert and when Lambert allegedly started beating on the apartment door. The apartment resident, who wanted nothing to do with the commotion, called the police. Officers arrived and came to the conclusion that Lambert may be intoxicated. After being arrested on a public intoxication charge, 32-year old Lambert told police that he couldn’t go to jail because his two children (ages 5 and 2) were home alone. Lambert’s wife was called and had to leave work to go back home and watch the children. DCS was notified and Lambert was charged with two counts of child neglect. Lambert will appear in court on February 27th.
