A 43 year old woman in Murfreesboro told police that she was raped inside her Jackson Motel room on NW Broad Street. The victim told officers that she was asleep when someone walked in and got on top of her.

According to a report, the woman said that the room was dark and could not see the subject. At one point she thought it was her boyfriend, but quickly realized that was not the case. Seconds later, the actual boyfriend walked in and chased the unknown assailant away.

Detectives responded to the scene and are investigating. At this point, an arrest has not been made.
