A theft from the Walmart on Joe B. Jackson Parkway in Murfreesboro proved to be a theft that was quite heavy.

One Walmart employee told police that he witnessed a white male run out of the store with a portable air conditioning unit without paying for it. Evidently, the suspect used a shopping cart to get the AC unit out of the store.

The man who took the unit was described as an older white male wearing a gray Under Armour baseball cap, black polo shirt and blue jeans.

When the man noticed he was being watched, he fled to the store parking lot with the AC unit in tow. However, he left the shopping cart and the air conditioner behind running towards Joe B. Jackson Parkway.

The man got away, leaving the air conditioner in the parking lot. Regardless, he could still face shoplifting charges if caught as he did leave the store with the merchandise.
