An arrest by the Murfreesboro Police Department Special Victims Unit has landed one subject behind bars.

22 Year old Victor Bustillo was accused of kidnapping and later raping a female. Details of the case were handed down to the Grand Jury which resulted in an indictment.

Bustillo was placed in the Rutherford County Adult Detention Center on September 9, 2019 where he remains unable to make bond.

Details of the case are not being released by the police department at this time. Public Information Officer Larry Flowers told WGNS, "The reports you requested, which involved juvenile victims, shall be considered confidential and exempt from other provisions of the law, and shall not be disclosed. In addition, the cases are pending prosecution and your request, for copies of the reports, is therefore denied."
