REVIEW: VikingCycle.com Clothing

I've really received a lot of compliments on this jacket. It is a jacket built for speed, for motorcycle speed that is. However, in every day where you can remove the pads which are attached by a total of 4 buttons and 2 pieces of Velcro.

As for they styling of the jacket, it is not something I would normally pick. However, it totally got me out of my comfort zone with style and put me into something that felt real.

If I could expand on that feeling of real for just a minute... The Jack kit gave me a rebellious type feeling as if I were in my early twenties again. It allowed for that certain feeling of toughness, which many women strive for in daily dress. Of it was rugged yet stylish.

With plenty of pockets and even hidden pockets once the pads or removed for daily wear, it came in quite handy. Lunch money for the kids right front pocket, a note pad for reminders at work front left pocket, and extra pin lower right pocket, driver's license and check card lower left front pocket. Could it be that I reached the stage in my life where I could go without a purse and only a jacket? I think so. My eyeliner perfectly fit into an inside pocket along with my lip stick. It was as if my jacket equaled freedom.

OK, so maybe it did not equal total freedom as I was not on the back of the bike with my significant other. I had to remind myself on the drive-in to work in the family SUV that freedom is more about happiness than it is about a clothing item or purse.

All throughout my 1st day wearing the new leather jacket from Viking cycles, I was living in a black-and-white James Dean movie. I felt cool. It was as if I was one of those soccer moms who had to drop kids off at school in the morning and pick them up in the afternoon. In between my drive to and from school I was me! I felt young, fun and excited!
