This month marked the 12th anniversary for one of the oldest unsolved cases in La Vergne, Tennessee. The situation revolves around remains that were found in a wooded area of the city that have yet to be identified.
Police say that the remains were found in 2007 in a remote, wooded area of La Vergne. The remains are believed to be that of an African American female who was was between the ages of 30 and 45. The woman likely stood at 5 foot 5 inches to 5 foot 6 inches tall.
To date, authorities still have little to go by on who the woman was.
