(La Vergne, TN) An employee at Wood Automotive Repair in La Vergne died when a car fell off the lift and pinned him between the car and the workbench.

La Vergne Fire Rescue and Rutherford County Emergency Medical Services arrived at the business around 5:30 Wednesday afternoon (11/27/2019).

Officials say the male was deceased before first responders arrived.
