(MURFREESBORO) On Sunday evening (12/29/2019), Rutherford County Fire Rescue responded to a Water Rescue at the intersection of Paw Paw Springs Rd and Independent Hill Road.

The Rutherford County Sheriffs Office reported that one person was in a vehicle that was partially submerged in flood waters.

RCFR crews arrived on the scene and were able to get the victim a life jacket. An inflatable rescue raft was used to remove the victim from the flooded roadway.

All personnel on scene assisted with the rescue.
