We have more information on the recent death of an EMS Captain who worked in Bedford County.

Chris Wren passed away after what appears to be a logging accident in Beersheba Springs last Saturday.

According to reports, the 52 year old was clearing property near Backbone Rd and a tree feel on him while he was cutting. The tree knocked Wren down an embankment. The Grundy County Sheriff's Department is investigating.
