(Murfreesboro) Police are investigating a Thursday afternoon (1/30/2020) stabbing in the 1300 block of Searcy Street. The victim has been taken by LifeFlight to the trauma facility at the Vanderbilt Medical Center. According to dispatch, the call came in around 4:00 o'clock.

A police spokesperson reports that they feel the perpetrator is in custody.

The name and condition of the victim has not been released.
