(NASHVILLE) The 111th General Assembly continues at the capital in Nashville. State Senator Shane Reeves (R-Murfreesboro) gives an update on what took place last week.
He said, "It has been a busy week at the State Capitol. It started off with Governor Bill Lee delivering his second State of the State Address on Monday (2/3/2020) evening, where he presented his budget for the upcoming fiscal year and outlined his 2020 legislative vision for Tennessee."
Senator Reeves commented, "This week, I had several groups come visit me for their Days on the Hill. Some of these groups included veterans, nurses, disability advocates, and electric cooperatives. It is always a privilege to sit down with constituents and talking about the issues they care about most."
He concluded, "I am proud to continue to represent the 14th District and as always, please do not hesitate to call my office at (615) 741-1066 if we can ever be of any assistance."
