(La Vergne, TN) La Vergne Police Field Training Officer Felicia Altheide was driving to work Tuesday morning when she was involved with a serious crash at the intersection of Murfreesboro and Florence Roads when a tractor-trailer rig pulled out and her vehicle ran under the trailer.

Miraculously, her little boy was not injured, because he was properly restrained in the back seat.

However, Officer Altheide was injured and taken by RCEMS to StoneCrest.

She has cuts and scrapes, a head injury, injuries to a hand, and certainly shaken-up.
