An invitation to respond to the next Census will arrive in local mailboxes the second week of March, which happens to be NEXT WEEK.
The United States has a population of 329,324,892 residents as of this month, according the U.S. Census Bureau. The entire world census comes in at just over 7.6 BILLION people. The most populated country in the world is China with over 1.3 billion residents followed by India with a similar 1.3 billion residents. China imports the most goods into America at a figure that stands at $539.5 billion dollars with Mexico ranked at number two on the import list at $346.5 billion dollars.
In the U.S., a new child is born every 9 seconds. One death occurs every 11 seconds. Also interesting, the South is growing at the fastest rate compared to other areas of the United States. The most recently calculated population gain in the South comes in at 38.3% followed by the West at 23.9%. The Midwest is growing at a rate of 20.8% and the Northeast at 17.1%.
