(Murfreesboro, TN) - A community-wide kickoff reception for the Safe Baby Court Program in Rutherford County will take place March 12th.

The Safe Baby Court Program connects families with a child age 0 to 3 years with the services needed to heal the family and to promote healthy child development during the most critical time in life for the child. This program relies on partnerships between the Department of Children's Services, the Rutherford County Juvenile Court, programs for families, mental health service providers, early childhood services, and community resources. The goal for the end of the program is to reunite the family.

Safe Baby Court Program community-wide kickoff

When: Thursday, March 12, 2020 from 5:30p.m to 6:30p.m.

Where: The Murfreesboro Housing Authority in the Maple Room at 415 N. Maple St., Murfreesboro, TN 37130

Why: The goal of the kickoff is to introduce the program to the community. The Safe Baby Court coordinator, the Rutherford County Juvenile Court Judge, and representatives from the Department of Children's Services will be in attendance to provide additional information about the program.
