Murfreesboro Parks for the most part - OPEN during COVID-19 Pandemic

While COVID-19 is spreading and people are isolating themselves, the parks are still open and they're a great place for social distancing...



That was Murfreesboro Parks and Rec Director Nate Williams who mentioned that some things within the parks remain closed...



In addition to closing indoor park facilities and canceling parks related programs, the parks also closed down playgrounds...



While the restrooms, multiple programs and playgrounds remain closed, the open spaces, trails and greenways are open and still a healthy option in a time of fear...



Again, our local parks - filled with trails and walkways - remain open.
