The Alzheimer's Association is asking for assistance as new waters are being navigated, due to the COVID-19 Pandemic.

Many home caregivers are facing unique challenges during the COVID-19 crisis, which is why the Alzheimer's Association is looking for help on the most vulnerable populations. The association said that this crisis is impacting nonprofits everywhere. Alongside a coalition of other nonprofits, the Alzheimer's Association is asking Congress to support emergency aid for nonprofit organizations.

Specifically, the Alzheimer's Association is asking legislators to:

• Ensure all nonprofits qualify for new, emergency small business loans: remove the 500 employee caps on nonprofits.

• Expressly provide charitable nonprofits with $60B in any emergency funding proposals.

• Create a robust universal charitable deduction and allow post March 1, 2020 donations to be claimed on 2019 and future tax returns.

The association is asking the public to contact their legislators and take action here: https://p2a.co/ER07wOv
