Walmart announced that local stores have started taking the temperature of employees when they report to work. Stores in places like Murfreesboro, Smyrna, Manchester, Nashville will tell workers to stay home or seek medical care if they have a fever of a least 100 or higher.

This has been implemented in all stores and even at distribution centers in the Shelbyville / Deason community of Bedford County, including Walmart fulfillment centers in COVID-19 hotspots.

Employees with a high temperature will not be allowed to return to work until they are fever free for at least three days.
