COVID-19 Surge Planning Continues in Tennessee

PPD's or Personal Protection Devices such as face-mask, gloves and even shoe covers for surgical settings are hard to come by if not impossible for the general public, but Governor Bill Lee said that the medical community is ahead of the game...



The governor suggests the state is almost ready for a surge of cases and has nearly enough ventilators on hand...



Currently, the state has access to 900 ventilators and another 500 are on order and should arrive before the expected surge in cases hit the Volunteer state. There are also several hundred extra ventilators in the state due to elective surgery being halted.
