A Best Buy employee told police that a customer upset with a computer warranty threatened suicide in the store. The incident occurred at the Best Buy in Murfreesboro and the store employee said that the customer pulled out a shotgun shell and stated, “I’ll shoot myself in the head right now.” The man then left the store and got into a minivan and drove away. Fearing the worst, store employees followed the man out to his vehicle and wrote down his license plate information. Deputies in the county then performed a welfare check at the man’s address, but he wasn’t home. Police labeled the case as a suicide threat.
